Note: For USB Sync we are dependent on the Drivers Apple installs for the iPhone/iPad with iTunes.
USB and and Wifi and local sync methods, which means the PC and Mobile device have to either be connected via the USB cable or in the same Local Network. DejaCloud our hosted Cloud sync service, this allows you to sync anywhere as long is there is some kind of network connection. Using CompanionLink and DejaOffice, there are three methods of Sync. If Outlook is the best set of Contacts/Calendar, choose "Remove" here to ensure all records are synced cleanly from CompanionLink.
Note: You will be prompted to "Remove" or "Keep" the current Contacts and Calendar when disabling.
Uncheck the "Sync Contacts" and "Sync Calendars" options.
Select the iPhone/iPad within iTunes and choose the "Info" option from the left menu.
Plug your iPhone/iPad into the PC via a USB Cable.
To prevent any sync loops, you first want to ensure the iTunes Outlook integration is disabled. See further down this guide for more details.
